So what made me blog after years of procrastination?
My classes, my classmates, my new job and most importantly, my impending MCAT.
and ofcourse, one of my dearest friends...
Girl on the move :)
I am a 20 year old third year undergraduate in biochemistry and biotechnology. I want to join a US medical school but being an international student, it is "close to impossible", in the words of one of my professors.
Ofcourse that did not throw me off balance but I do realize it is very very difficult to get into a med school, even for the citizens. I need to get perfect MCATs, an awesome resume and loads of clinical experience...something that I need to work on in the next few months. In case you are not aware of it MCAT aka Medical College Admission Test is a standardized test for prospective medical students in the United States.
My friends, my family, all complain that I have no time for them. All I can say is that this is the most important time period of my life and this blog is a way for me to vent my feelings when talking to somebody else will be just another tedious job (in terms of communication).
I am currently at work. I work at Campus Security as a dispatcher and it is 4.33 am. Yeah, I work at night. But it is not too bad once you get used to it, especially if you get lots of time to study... provided you do not loose focus!!!
I might sound like a nerd but anyone who knows me understands how this is just one of my many facets. Hopefully you will be able to discover many more...!!!
